USC Lacrosse prepares for crucial matches against California and Colorado, while Yale and Princeton also begin their seasons.

USC Women`s Lacrosse is gearing up for a pivotal series against California and Colorado. The Trojans will clash with California on February 14, 2025, at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, with the match set to begin at 3 p.m. PT. USC boasts a dominant 17-1 record against the Golden Bears, having won 17 consecutive games since their first encounter. Currently, USC holds a 0-1 record for the season and is yet to compete in the Big Ten, while California is starting fresh in the ACC. Fans can catch the action live on ACCNX and ESPN+.

Following the matchup with California, USC will take on 21 Colorado on February 16, 2025, at the same venue, starting at 1 p.m. PT. The Trojans lead the series against the Buffaloes 14-6, although they suffered a setback in their last meeting during the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals, losing 9-12. USC has a balanced record of 11-11 in neutral games against Colorado, with a 2-2 mark in those matchups.

In men`s lacrosse, the Yale Bulldogs are set to launch their 2025 season against Villanova on February 15, 2025, at 12 p.m. in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Coming off a strong 2024 season, Yale had 10 players recognized in the All-Ivy selections. Villanova, on the other hand, is looking to bounce back after a loss to 12 Penn State. Yale`s Leo Johnson, Chris Lyons, and Brad Sharp are early contenders for the prestigious Tewaaraton Award.

Princeton Tigers will also kick off their season against 10 Penn State on February 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. in University Park, Pennsylvania.
