Buffalo Bandits advance to the NLL Finals, while Liberty Flames dominate Minnesota in collegiate lacrosse championships.

The Buffalo Bandits have secured their spot in the 2025 NLL Finals for the fifth consecutive season after a thrilling 11-9 victory over the Vancouver Warriors in Game 2 of their semifinal series at Rogers Centre in Vancouver on May 5. With this win, the Bandits completed a 2-0 series sweep, showcasing their dominance as two-time defending champions.

The Bandits will now face either the Saskatchewan Rush or the Halifax Thunderbirds in the best-of-three finals, which are set to commence on May 16 in Buffalo. The Rush currently lead their semifinal series 1-0, with Game 2 scheduled for May 10 in Saskatoon.

In collegiate lacrosse, the top-seeded Liberty Flames delivered an impressive performance against No. 16 Minnesota, winning 21-8 in the first round of the MCLA National Championships on May 5 at RRMC Field 7 in Round Rock, Texas. Keaton Mohs shone brightly for Liberty, racking up 10 points with 6 goals and 4 assists, while Owen Carlson contributed 6 goals for Minnesota.
