Morgan left out of Hayes' Team USA Olympic squad

The 18-player roster Emma Hayes has selected for the Olympic Games in Paris next month does not include American attacker Alex Morgan.

The 34-year-old Morgan competed for Team USA in every Olympics from Beijing 2008 and took home the gold medal in London 2012.

After recently recuperating from an ankle ailment, the two-time World Cup winner, who has scored 123 goals for her country, has not scored in her last eight games for San Diego Wave.
