'All parties accepted' replays should stop - FA

The Football Association maintains that "all parties accepted" they could not proceed, defending its decision to drop FA Cup replays for 2024–2025.

Replays will no longer be used starting with the first round of the competition, it was revealed on Thursday. The competition will only take place on weekends.

The new arrangement, according to the EFL, was "agreed solely between the Premier League and FA".
