The UEFA Champions League play-off draw features Manchester City and Celtic facing tough opponents, with key matchups ahead.

The UEFA Champions League is gearing up for an exciting play-off round as the league phase has concluded. The draw for the play-offs is set for January 31 at 110 UK time in Nyon, Switzerland, and will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 2 and discovery+, with streaming available on the TNT Sports YouTube channel.

Seeded teams in the draw include heavyweights like Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, PSV, Paris Saint-Germain, and Benfica. Meanwhile, unseeded teams such as Monaco, Brest, Feyenoord, Juventus, Celtic, Manchester City, Sporting CP, and Club Brugge will be vying for a chance to advance. Notably, Manchester City and Celtic, who finished 22nd and 21st respectively, are set to face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the play-offs.

The top eight teams from the league phase, including Liverpool, Arsenal, and Aston Villa, have secured direct qualification for the Round of 16. Liverpool, finishing at the top, will encounter one of Monaco, Brest, Paris Saint-Germain, or Benfica. Arsenal, in third place, will take on one of Feyenoord, Juventus, AC Milan, or PSV Eindhoven. Aston Villa, having clinched their spot with a victory over Celtic, will face Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund, Sporting Lisbon, or Club Brugge in the last 16.

The play-off matches will unfold over two weeks, with the first legs scheduled for February 11 and 12, followed by the second legs on February 18 and 19. The draw for the last-16 will take place on February 21, setting the stage for thrilling encounters in Europe’s premier club competition.
