Verlander Joins Giants on One-Year Deal

Justin Verlander has signed a one-year contract worth $15 million with the San Francisco Giants, pending a physical examination. The Giants are also eyeing Japanese ace Roki Sasaki, who will be eligible to sign when the international signing period opens on January 15.
