GB & NI juniors dazzled at the Mannheim Gala, breaking records and setting new personal bests in thrilling performances.

At the Mannheim Gala, the air crackled with excitement as GB & NI juniors showcased their extraordinary talent, shattering records and setting new benchmarks. Charlotte Henrich electrified the crowd, blazing through the women’s 400m in a stunning 52.56 seconds, establishing a new meeting record that will resonate in the annals of athletics.

In the men’s 400m hurdles, Oliver Parker claimed victory with a time of 50.83 seconds, while Rayhan Mourtada celebrated a personal best of 51.29 seconds, marking a significant milestone in his young career. Noah Hanson’s impressive 13.33 seconds in the 110m hurdles not only secured him second place but also met the European U20 standard, propelling him to the top of the U20 European rankings.

Lucy Tallon dazzled in the 200m, clocking a personal best of 23.55 seconds, also meeting the European U20 standard. Arabella Wilson triumphed in the women’s 400m hurdles, finishing in 57.98 seconds, with Stephani Okoro close behind at 58.26 seconds. Hammer thrower Jabez Berry unleashed a personal best of 74.75m, inching closer to the second-best mark in Europe at the U20 level.

Teddy Wilson sprinted to a season-best 10.28 seconds in the men’s 100m, while Kaya Slater’s 11.45 seconds marked the fastest GB & NI time at the Gala. In the men’s 200m, Ethan Franklin earned bronze with 20.90 seconds, followed by Dean Patterson’s personal best of 20.94 seconds.
