Emma Himes showcased her exceptional talent by winning the 3,200-meter run with a time of 13:14.22 at a recent track meet. Her team`s 3,200-meter relay squad also excelled, securing first place with a time of 10:32.31, further highlighting their dominance in the event.

In collegiate action, Embry-Riddle is leading the Peach Belt Men`s Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a total of 94 points after Day 1. This impressive performance was bolstered by Ryan Flournoy`s record-breaking javelin throw of 66.05 meters, which ranks as the 13th-best in NCAA Division II this season. Flournoy`s achievement marks his third consecutive title in the javelin event.

Augusta follows in second place with 60 points, closely trailed by Columbus State with 58 points and Flagler with 57 points. The men`s 200m prelims saw K`Anthony Benjamin emerge as the top qualifier with a time of 21.00 seconds, ahead of Jalen Belton and Michael Balkman, who clocked 21.43 and 21.58 seconds, respectively. The championships continue on April 29, featuring nine track finals and three field events, including the conclusion of the decathlon.
