George Mills broke the 3000m record at the British Athletics Indoor Championships, showcasing exceptional talent ahead of the European Indoor Championships.

George Mills made headlines at the British Athletics Indoor Championships held at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham from February 23-25, 2025, by breaking the long-standing championship record in the men’s 3000m with a remarkable time of 7:44.00. This performance not only secured him the title but also a coveted spot on the British team for the upcoming European Indoor Championships.

In the shot put, Scott Lincoln showcased his dominance with a winning throw of 20.61m. On the women’s side, Morgan Lake soared to victory in the high jump, clearing an impressive 1.96m, while Amber Anning clinched the 400m title with a time of 51.54 seconds. Neil Gourley successfully defended his 1500m crown, finishing in 3:41.20 after a tactical race. Molly Caudery continued her strong form in the pole vault, winning with a clearance of 4.80m.
