CAVB Championship: Cameroon Team's Feel The Abuja Indoor Sports Hall Ahead of Thursday Clash

The Cameroon Cadet Girls and Boys national teams made their first training session at the  indoor Sports Hall National Stadium package B in Abuja on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, where they will play all their matches of the African Nations championships in their respective category.

Confident, the technical staff of both teams insisted during the morning and evening training sessions on the handling of the ball and the tactics of the game.

The objective is to allow the players to keep their body fit until the start of the competition matches scheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2021.

This day was also an opportunity for the officials of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) to carry out preliminary investigations on the various participating teams.

This step was successfully passed by the ambassadors of Cameroon at these continental meetings.

It must be noted that in addition to the host country (Nigeria), Morocco (U-19 Boys) and Cameroon (U-18 Girls and U-19 Boys) are already present in Abuja.

The likes of  Egypt (U-18 Girls and U-19 Boys), Gambia and Uganda are also expected in Abuja for the tournament.

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the technical meeting has been postponed to Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 6 p.m.  As a reminder, the first two teams in Girls and Boys at the end of the competition will qualify for the world championships scheduled to take place this year in Mexico and Iran
