Blessing Oborududu has entered the record books as the first Nigerian to win a wrestling medal at the Olympics, after claiming Silver in the 68kg class following a 4-1 defeat to American Tamyra Mensah Stock.

She Earlier won two consecutive  ti against Meerim Zhumanazarova, held on for dear life to win by 3-2 and make the semifinal stage of the women's 68kg.
