Tokyo2020: Sensational 18-Year-Old Sprinter Breaks Namibia 25 Years Medal Drought

It's another sensational run from 18-year-old Christine Mboma as she shatters her own World under-20 record with a time of 21.81 to clinch the silver medal in the women's 200m 

 

 Christine Mboma broke the World U20 record in the Women’s 200m sprint semifinals with a time of 21:97 seconds to advance to the final

 

The sensational teenager end Namibia 25 years medal drought by finishing second with a personal best 21.81.

 

 Elaine Thompson-Herah successfully defends her Olympic sprint titles, storming to 2nd fastest time ever - 21.53s - to win women's 200m title while Christine Mboma shatters the African record again to get Silver in 21.83s and  Gabby Thomas 3rd in 21.87s to get a brown

 

 Her Namibian teammate Beatrice Masilingi ended sixth with a commanding 22.28 seconds, which is also her career personal best.
