Is Another finalist for Nigeria Team Nigeria as  Chukwuebuka Enekwechi is through to the men's Shot Put final after he launched his implement to a mark of 21.16m to place 4th and pick up one of the non-automatic qualifying spots for the final. 

Chukwuebuka Enekwech finished as 7th overall best performer to qualify for the finals of the men Shot Put.

In the Men 200m semifinals,  Divine Oduduru finished in Lane 1 and  was the third fastest amongst those who did not qualify automatically for the 200m final, but only two go through. He narrowly missed out by 0.06s to Jereem Richards who nicked the last spot.
