The group stage of the 2021 FIBA Women Afrobasket were confirmed at Saturday draw in Yaounde, The Cameroon Capital with participating countries discovering most of their opponents.

The 12 teams were divided into four groups of three teams with host, Cameroon drawn in Group A alongside Cape Verde and Kenya.

Defending Champion, Nigeria is drawn in group B with Mozambique and the Winner of Zone of 6 Qualifiers.

Group C have the most successful team, Senegal alongside Egypt and Gabon.

While Ivory Coast is drawn alongside Mali and a possible wild Card team in Group D.

The 12 Nation tournament will be staged at the Yaounde Multi-Sports Complex from September 17 to 26.
