Great Olympics skipper Gladson Awako believe football is for the fans, asuch lauded the decision to have the supporters return to the various stadiums to watch the loving game.
On Friday, April 16, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) in a released statement approved the return of football loving fans back to watch their teams in the various league centers. However, they revealed that they can only admit 25% of Supporters at each match venue.
The decision meant that, the Ghana Premier League, Division One and Women’s top flight league will finally heave a big sigh of relief in their weekend’s games, as they will have supporters cheering them up.
Following that, Captain of Great Olympics, Gladson Awako cannot wait to have the fans back in the stadium.
He took to tweeter to admit that, they play the game for the fans: Football is for the Fans and we’re Glad to have them back ✊# Bring Back The Love.
Currently, Great Olympics sit second on the 2020/21 Ghana premier league table with 34 points, having beaten and drawn with Asante Kotoko in the first and second round.
They took three points from regional rivals, Hearts of Oak in the first league at the Accra Sports Stadium, after a 2-0 win.
