Razak Issah has rendered an apology to the supporters of the club following his mistake which led to the club's defeat last Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Crabs fell to a narrow 1-0 loss to their Regional rivals Elmina Sharks thanks to a 87th minute penalty converted by Benjamin Boateng in an epic week 18 clash of the Ghana Premier League.
Angrily, the supporters of the home team chased out their goalkeeper Razak Issah for conceding that late penalty which yielded their defeats stating and accusing him staking bet.
This same goalkeeper, scored a free kick against the Fearsome Sharks to earn them a 2-2 stalemate at the Ndoum Sports Complex in the season opener.
Now after the incident, the goalkeeper took to his official Facebook handle to render an unqualified apology to the entire fans and denied the allegations of him staking a bet. He wrote;
"Good evening family and my fans. I am using this platform to render an apology for the mistake I committed today which resulted in the penalty hence the defeat. I must confess that, the incident wasn't deliberate for my interest to the alleged rumours about me staking bet. I'm very broken about the said rumours against me but in all, not all tears are evil."
"I hope my apology will be accepted, I love my team so much and I won't in any way deliberately intend to cause the downfall of my team. I am deplored in all measured and in a deepest pain for this incident. It is football and I have learnt from this mistake."
The Ebusua Dwarfs will seek for revenge against Eleven Wonders in week 19 after losing to them 2-0 in the first leg in Techiman.
