[South Africa] Patrice Motsepe Reveals Why He Didnt Run For PSL Chairmanship

South Africa Billionaire and  Mamelodi Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe hopes to become the first person from South Africa to be elected as CAF president when the elections take place in 13 days.

Patrice revealed that he didn't run for the SAFA presidency because someone better than him is already at the helm of affairs of the Association as he takes his ambition to the Africa level.

"I was laughing when I was asked why I didn't first run for PSL Chairmanship. Why must I run for positions where there are people better than me? Dr [Irvin] Khoza has done a brilliant job [at the Premier Soccer League]. Danny Jordaan as SAFA (South African Football Association) President is doing a wonderful job." - Patrice Motsepe

Also, Patrice Motsepe has disclosed that his son Kgosi will become the new Mamelodi Sundowns president should the billionaire become the Confederation of African Football (CAF) president next month.
