Kotoko new head Coach  Mariano Barreto and deputy coach Bruno Miguel touched down in Kumasi on Saturday and were at the Adako Jachie Training Complex when Kotoko played lower-tier side Rainbow Stars in a mid-season friendly.

The Porcupine Warriors new technical handlers visited the team’s training ground to interact with the players and technical team members in the morning.


 
They arrived in the company of Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah and Administrative Operations Manager, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi.


Barreto and his assistant were introduced to the players and the technical team and later watched on as Kotoko subdued Rainbow Stars 3-1, thanks to goals from Patrick Asmah, Augustine Okrah and newly-signed striker Andy Kumi Francis.


Barreto is expected to make his official debut next weekend when Kotoko travel to face Eleven Wonders in Ghana Premier League at Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
