Kenya Coach Bitok selects Olympic Game provisional Squad

 

 

Nairobi, Kenya, March 23, 2021- Kenya Head coach Paul Bitok selected the provisional squad for the Kenyan National team due to start the preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. 

 

Kenya's National Women team will be Africa's representative in the Olympic games this summer, participating for the first time since Athens 2004 

 

The preparations for the Olympic showdown will be hectic in the next 3 months, as coach Paul Bitok summoned a provisional squad of 20 players to begin training today at Kasarani Indoor Arena. 

 

Squad: 

Setters: Joy Lusenaka, Esther Mutinda, Jane Wacu and Emmaculate Nekesa

Right attackers: Emmaculate Chemtai, Violet Makuto, Sharon Chepchumba

Middle blockers: Edith Wisa ,Joan Jelagat ,Gladys Ekaru, Carolyne Sirengo and Lorrine Chebet

Left attackers: Mercy Moim (captain), Noel Murambi, Leonida Kasaya, Jemmima Siangu, and Pamela Masaisai

Liberos: Elizabeth Wanyama, Agripina Kundu and Josphine Wafula
