Hana Goda , a 16-Year- Old Egyptian and Africa Table Tennis Star is making wave in the game of Table Tennis.

Hana Ayman Hussin Mohamed Goda, born on December 12,  2007 is an Egyptian table tennis player who is currently world rank number 28 in ITTF and number 2 table tennis player in Africa. 

Goda, who has established herself as one of the most talented players to have emerged from Africa is ranked number one in the  U17 category while her performance in several WTT Youth Contender Series has made her a delight to watch on the table.

The Ahly junior talent rose to the limelight in 2020 after defeating arch-rival Zamalek’s contender 27-year-old Farah Abdel-Aziz, who was second in the African ranking, to claim the Egyptian senior title, in addition to gaining four gold medals in the African competition.

Goda became Egyptian youngest Olympia after she was  called up as a reserve player in the women's team in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

In 2021, She announced herself in Africa when she bundled out former African champions Olufunke Oshonaike of Nigeria and her compatriot – Dina Meshref to become the first teenager to play in the final of the African Senior Championships. 

On Saturday 28th May, Hana Goda won the women’s singles title at the 2022 ITTF-Africa Cup in Lagos, at 14 years and 167 days old, and became the youngest ever winner of a Continental Cup title.

In March 2023, Hana Goda defeated Africa’s number one player, Dina Meshref, in an exhilarating match to clinch the Gold medal in the African Games.

In October 2024, The 16-year-old Egyptian sensation, secured the title after a seven-game thriller 4-3 victory over her compatriot, Mariam Alhodaby in the women's singles final to successfully defend her crown. 

At 16 Years , Goda has won two Seniors title, African Games title, Team, Doubles and Mixed doubles titles for Egypt.
