So many Athletes from Nigerian descent have represented Great Britain in different sports, especially in Athletes with most winning at least a medal.
Just like many, Amuilka Joy (Joice) Maduaka is one of the most decorated Britain Athletes from Nigeria descent.
Joice Maduaka born September 30th 1973 is British born track and field athlete originally from Ogbeani Quarters in Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
Joice Maduaka competes over the 100, 200 and occasionally 400 metres and represented Great Britain in Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
She holds the record for winning the most medals of any athlete at the British Athletics Championships, standing at 22 medals to date, including being the 100 metres champion six times, and the 200 metres champion a further three times.
Maduaka also won bronze with Great Britain in 1998 and 2002 Common Wealth Games in Kuala Lumpur and Manchester.
The 51-Year-old is currently the EY Global Lead for EY Athlete Programs.
