Nigeria are through to the ICC Under 19 Women's T20 World Cup after The Africa Qualifier final between Nigeria and Zimbabwe was abandoned due to rain.

Nigeria won the toss and chose to bat first and posted 77 for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs for Zimbabwe to chase. 

Zimbabwe posted 19 for the loss of 1 wicket in 2.3 overs before heavy rain interrupted the game and the game was abandoned. 

The final was decided  on head to head rule decision which favours Nigeria who earlier beat Zimbabwe in the group stage and  Nigeria women automatically  clinched the sole ticket and qualified for the 2025 ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup in Malaysia. 

The Nigeria Women's Junior Yellow Green won all games before the final and will be in their maiden World Cup next year in Malaysia.

This will be second World Cup ticket for Nigeria cricket Federation after the first one was clinched in 2019 by the U19 Men's team.
