South Africans Calls For Removal of Gold Medalist Udeme Okon From South Africa After His Interview Response

Some South Africans are calling for the deportation and removal of Gold Medalist, Udeme Okon from the South Africa Athletics team after Labeling the people of the country he is representing as being xenophobic.

Udeme Okon born in South Africa to Nigeria father and South Africa mother won the 400m title in the World Athletics U20 Championship in Lima, Peru with a time of 45.69 to clinched South Africa second Gold medal in the championship.

During an Interview Udeme said " There are lots of Xenophobia going on , a lot of racism based on , if you are from here, you are from South Africa but yeah there are lots of that everywhere in the country and I think we should actually just accept  people into specific countries no matter where they are from "

But his response to the interview didn't go well with majority of South Africans who misinterpreted his response and calling the country sports minister Gayton McKenzie for the removal of Udeme for disrespecting the country.
