South Africa 2024: Nigeria Rosters For FIBA U18 Boys and Girls Afrobasket Championship

The Nigeria Basketball  Federation has released the roaster of the Junior 'Tigers and Junior 'Tigress for the FIBA U18 AfroBasket 2024 taking place in Pretoria, South Africa, from 2 to 14 September 2024 

 

Both teams were unbeaten at the zonal qualifiers in Abidjan, Ivory Coast were they book their qualifications and are set to wear the national badge proudly in South Africa. 

 

To date, reigning champion Egypt and Nigeria are the most successful countries with 6 trophies each in 22 editions. Angola follows with four titles.

 

The winner and runner-up of the FIBA U18 AfroBakset 2024 will earn the right to represent Africa at the next FIBA U19 World Cup 2025 in Switzerland.

 

Preparation to this, the U18 Boys and Girls are to report to camp on Sunday August 25th 2024, the Junior D'Tigers will camp at the MKO Stadium in Abuja while the D'Tigress will camp at National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
