Brandon Vázquez Joins Austin FC in Record Transfer

The 2025 MLS season is on the horizon, with teams preparing for the upcoming campaign through significant roster changes and preseason activities. Austin FC has made headlines by acquiring United States striker Brandon Vázquez from Liga MX's CF Monterrey for a club-record transfer fee, signaling their ambition for the new season.

In other notable moves, Matías Rojas, who was previously in negotiations with Inter Miami, has opted to join Argentinian club River Plate as a free agent. FC Dallas has strengthened its defense by trading for United States national team defender Shaq Moore from Nashville SC, signing him to a two-year deal with an option for 2027.

LAFC has also been active in the transfer market, securing forward Jeremy Ebobisse on a three-year contract with a club option for 2028. Meanwhile, the San Jose Earthquakes have agreed to transfer goalkeeper Emmanuel Ochoa to Cruz Azul of Liga MX, further reshaping their squad.
