Zion Williamson Shines in Return Despite Pelicans Loss

Zion Williamson made a remarkable return to the court after a two-month recovery from a left hamstring strain, showcasing his athleticism with a viral 360 dunk during the New Orleans Pelicans' game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite the Pelicans falling short with a 104-97 loss, Williamson's performance was a bright spot, as he recorded 22 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block in just 28 minutes of play. He shot 9-for-15 from the field, although he struggled from beyond the arc and the free-throw line, going 0-for-2 and 4-for-9, respectively. This season, Williamson is averaging 22.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.1 assists over eight games.

In college basketball, the Tulane Green Wave faced their first loss in the American Athletic Conference against the UAB Blazers.
