In college basketball, the Tulane Green Wave faced their first loss in the American Athletic Conference against the UAB Blazers. Tulane started strong but ultimately succumbed to UAB's experience, resulting in an 81-69 defeat. Yaxel Lendenborg of UAB was a standout performer, scoring 25 points and contributing significantly with 13 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and two blocks.
