PSG Extends Unbeaten Away Streak in Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has made significant strides in their Ligue 1 campaign, particularly with their recent performance away from home. In their rescheduled Matchday 16 clash against Monaco, PSG secured a 4-2 victory, extending their unbeaten streak in away Ligue 1 matches to 32 games. This impressive run ties them with Inter Milan's record from 2006-2008 and positions them just behind Bayern Munich's 33-game streak from 2012-2014.

The win in Monaco was notable not only for the score but also for the context. Monaco had been a challenging venue for PSG, with the Parisian club having suffered their last away defeat in Ligue 1 at Stade Louis-II on February 11, 2023. However, under the guidance of coach Luis Enrique, PSG has turned their fortunes around, boasting 24 wins and 8 draws in their last 32 away games.

This streak is now on the cusp of breaking a decade-long record held by AC Milan, who went 38 away games unbeaten between 1991 and 1993. The current form of PSG not only strengthens their grip on the Ligue 1 title but also adds extra motivation to the team as they aim to make history.
