Barbra Banda scored the go-ahead goal and the Orlando Pride defeated the Kansas City Current 3-2 on Sunday to advance to the National Womenās Soccer League championship game.
Banda during a post match conference said āI am excited to qualify for the final.ā
āI think it has been an amazing season for me winning the shield and qualifying for the playoffs, I am hoping to continue with that momentum next season as well.ā
āDefenders will always defend and we have as strikers to be creative to work through the rival playing rough.ā

The Pride will face the Washington Spirit on Saturday for the league title at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City. The Spirit advanced to the final on a penalty shootout with a 1-1 draw against defending champions Gotham FC in the other semifinal, on Saturday.
