FA charges Spurs over alleged homophobic chanting

Due to suspected homophobic chanting by their supporters after a 3-0 victory over Manchester United earlier this season, Tottenham has been punished by the Football Association.
According to reports, the yelling occurred during the 49th and 79th minutes of the Premier League match on September 29 at Old Trafford.
Spurs declared that "abhorrent homophobic chanting" was "simply unacceptable" and promised to take the "strongest possible action" as soon as the game was over.
