McAtamney makes Giants NFL debut

Jude McAtamney, a former Derry Under-20 GAA player, made his NFL debut for the New York Giants on Sunday during their 27–22 defeat to the Washington Commanders.
With 12 minutes and 26 seconds left in the second quarter, the 24-year-old from Swatragh entered the game for the first time to add the extra point after Daniel Jones' touchdown pass to Chris Manhertz. He was successful on both of his kick attempts.
After his subsequent 31-yard field goal in the third quarter, the 2-7 Giants, playing from behind, failed to reach the end zone both times and instead attempted two-point conversions after their next two touchdowns.
