Yankees hit back to keep World Series hopes alive

With an 11-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers, who are leading the best-of-seven series 3-1, the New York Yankees maintained their hopes of winning the World Series, sparked by Anthony Volpe's grand slam in the third inning at Yankee Stadium.
No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a World Series, so the Yankees will need to create history if they are to defeat the Dodgers despite avoiding a 4-0 sweep.
The in-form Freddie Freeman, who has hit a home run in every game of this series, appeared to be on the verge of completing that sweep in the first inning when he hit another two-run blast to right field, repeating the situation from game three.
