Number five seed Roberto Bautista qualified for the ATP Doha final on Friday by knocking out Russian Andrey Rublev (number three) 6-3, 6-3. Already a striker of the Austrian Dominic Thiem (seeded number one) in the quarterfinals, the Spaniard signed another big performance by dominating Rublev in two short sets. Bautista, already winner in Doha in 2019, will face in the final the winner of the semi-final between the American Taylor Fritz (33rd world) and the Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili (42nd).
