Usyk Defeats Fury, Crawford and Davis on the Rise

Oleksandr Usyk has once again proven his dominance in the heavyweight division by defeating Tyson Fury in their highly anticipated rematch. The fight, which took place in Riyadh, saw Usyk emerge victorious on the scorecards, solidifying his position as one of the top heavyweights in the world. Wladimir Klitschko praised Usyk, calling him a `true legend and champion,` while Lennox Lewis felt that Fury missed an opportunity to take the fight to Usyk more aggressively[3].

In other boxing news, Terence Crawford and Gervonta Davis continue to make waves in their respective divisions. Crawford, known for his clinical finishing ability, recently ended a ten-fight stoppage streak when he went the distance against Israil Madrimov. Despite this, Crawford remains one of the most formidable fighters, having ended 31 of his 41 bouts inside the distance. He is now setting his sights on a fight with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez at super-middleweight[2].

Gervonta Davis, meanwhile, is preparing to defend his WBA lightweight title against Lamont Roach Jr on March 1. Davis, who boasts 28 knockouts in 30 fights, has been praised for his ability to produce knockout moments out of nowhere. He has also announced plans to retire at the end of 2025 after two more fights[2].
