Ejike Misses Out On Podium Finish For The First

For the first time at the Paralympic Games , Nigeria's Lucy Ejike has finished without a medal since she started competed for the first time at Sydney 2000 Paralympics.

Ejike scored a no-lift on her final attempt of 139kg, finishing 4th after attempting the Paralympic Record. She started from the 44kg category 24yrs ago, and moved up through different categories to compete in 67kg in Paris.

She has been an astute ambassador for the country, giving it her all at every event she has represented the country in. There's no shame in finishing 4th.
