Alexei Popyrin beats Rublev in straight sets

At the National Bank Open on Monday night, Australia's Alexei Popyrin—ranked 62nd in the world—beat Russia's fifth-seeded Andrey Rublev 6-2, 6-4 to claim the biggest singles title of his career.

Popyrin entered a week where he faced five top-20 players in a row and won all of them with two lower-level ATP Tour titles under his belt.
