UEFA fines seven nations for racist conduct

Due to racist and discriminatory mistreatment by fans at Euro 2024, UEFA on Wednesday ordered seven national football federations to pay fines totaling 230,000 euros ($250,00.

The events, which primarily included supporters of Balkan teams during the month-long, 24-nation competition held in Germany, were not made public by UEFA.

Croatia's sanction, which is the highest at 50,000 euros ($54,00, is due for incidents that occurred at all three of its games.
