In a preseason friendly, a Como player allegedly made a racial slur directed against Wolves forward Hwang Hee-chan, according to manager Gary O'Neil.

The Wolves forward Daniel Podence was sent out for throwing a punch after the incident, which occurred halfway through the second half, according to the Midlands club.

At their training camp in Spain, Wolves defeated South Korea's Hwang 1-0. O'Neil claimed to have asked the 28-year-old striker if he wanted to give up the game, but Hwang refused.
