Team USA Begins Olympic Prep with Victory Over Canada (86-72)

Five days after arriving in Las Vegas to start their training camp, the NBA stars making up the new American "dream team" were able to warm up with a first test against the Canadians, who finished third at the last 2023 FIBA World Cup, just ahead of the United States with a largely revamped roster. Led by LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and the rest of the star-studded lineup, Team USA secured a comfortable 86-72 victory in their first exhibition game ahead of the upcoming Olympic Games. The win provided an encouraging start to their preparation for the international tournament, as they look to reclaim the gold medal after a disappointing performance at the last Olympics.
