Rohit Sharma breaks record for most fours

The record for the most fours hit by a batsman in T20 World Cup history was broken by India's Rohit Sharma on Thursday during their quarterfinal match against England at Providence Stadium in Guyana.

In the T20 World Cup, Rohit surpassed former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene's record of 111 fours. To accomplish the milestone, he struck a reverse sweep and found the boundary off leg-spinner Adil Rashid's bowling.
