Warner-Judd provisionally diagnosed with epilepsy

The women's 10,000-meter European champion Jessica Warner-Judd, a British runner, has announced that she has received a tentative diagnosis of epilepsy following a seizure she had on Tuesday.

With 600 meters remaining in the Rome race, the 29-year-old withdrew. She claimed that during her evaluation at the medical center, she experienced another seizure, which resulted in her being sedated and spending the night in the hospital.

Warner-Judd mentioned that she was "not sure what the future holds [at the moment]" in a post on X, the former Twitter external platform.
