Man City Challenges Premier League's Sponsorship..

According to The Times, the English club Manchester City, purchased in 2008 by an Emirati investment fund, has attacked the Premier League and its regulations on sponsorship contracts, claiming possible "discrimination" against the club. In February, the Premier League tightened the rules governing commercial partnership agreements with companies linked to club owners, known as Associated Party Transactions (APTs). Contrary to the majority of clubs, Manchester City alleges that the APT rules are illegal and is seeking damages for lost revenue.
