Mbappe had announced his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, following the end of his contract at the end of the current season, to join Real Madrid on a free deal.
Real Madrid issued a statement on its official website, saying: āReal Madrid Football Club and Kylian Mbappe have reached an agreement according to which the player will join the team during the next five seasons.ā
Real Madrid sought to include Mbappe more than once, the first was in 2017, when Kylian was a player with Monaco, but the player preferred to move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The second time was in the summer of 2022, when Mbappe agreed on all the details with Real Madrid, before renewing his contract at Princes Park for two seasons, in a move that was shocking to Merengue officials.
Real Madrid recently won the Champions League title, for the 15th time in its history, by defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0.
