Catalans win Wheelchair Challenge Cup

The Wheelchair Challenge Cup champion Catalans Dragons easily defeated the Wigan Warriors, the current Super League champions, in Sheffield to win the competition for a second time.

Catalans led 34–12 at halftime thanks to three goals from Jeremy Bourson and two from Nico Clausells. Dec Roberts and Adam Rigby replied for Wigan.

Les Dracs' captain Sebastien Bechara scored his first goal less than a minute after the break to complete a second-half hat-trick, and Arno Vargas added a treble of his own.
