Aussie Swimmer Hodges Retires

Chelsea Hodges, an Australian swimmer, has announced her retirement from the sport. She stated that her hips are now those of a 60-year-old woman, and despite wanting one last chance at the Paris Olympics, she has had to undergo six cortisone injections. Hodges had previously undergone surgery at 15 and again last year. Her retirement is a blow to Australia's medal hopes, as she was part of the gold medal-winning 4x100m relay team at the Tokyo Olympics.
