McKenna beats Guardiola & Arteta to win LMA award

The League Managers Association has selected Kieran McKenna, the manager of Ipswich Town, the manager of the year.

The 38-year-old defeated Mikel Arteta of Arsenal and Pep Guardiola of Manchester City to earn the prize. He guided Ipswich back to the Premier League following a 22-year hiatus.

The LMA's shortlist also included Portsmouth manager John Mousinho, Everton manager Sean Dyche, and Aston Villa's Unai Emery.
