Four African teams have qualified for the Olympics on the first day of the World relays
- 3 in the men's 4x400m: Botswana 🇧🇼, South Africa 🇿🇦 and Nigeria 🇳🇬
- 1 in the mixed 4x400m: Nigeria 🇳🇬
These teams will compete for prize money tomorrow in the final (from US$40,000 to the winner to US$2,000 for eighth place).
The other teams will have one more chance at Olympic qualification tomorrow (by claiming one of the top two spots in their race).

WOMEN
●4x100m: Côte d'Ivoire 42.83, Liberia 43.15, Nigeria 43.15
●4x400m: Zambia 3:35.37, Botswana 3:40.66, Kenya 3:40.66, Nigeria DNS (not a full team due to injuries and visa issues)
MIXED
●Mixed 4x400m: Nigeria 3:13.79 Q (Qualified for Paris 2024), South Africa 3:15.95, Botswana 3:18.48, Kenya 3:19.90
