Archer named in England's T20 World Cup squad

In preparation for their defense of the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and the United States in June, Jofra Archer has been brought back to the England team.

The 29-year-old fast bowler Archer will make his most recent recovery from an elbow injury that has kept him out of action for England since March 2023.

Chris Jordan, another fast bowler, is also called up, while Chris Woakes, the champion of both limited-overs World Cups, is left off the roster.
