Duplantis Soars, but Record Remains.

Armand Duplantis, the phenomenal pole vaulter, comfortably triumphed at the Suzhou Diamond League meeting in China but fell short of improving his world record of 6.24m set a week ago in his summer debut.

Duplantis cleared 5.62m, 5.82m, 5.92m, and 6m on his first attempts before encountering three failures at 6.25m. Belgian Ben Broeders and American Sam Kendricks shared second place, both reaching 5.82m. In February 2020, Duplantis seized the world record from Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie (6.17m vs. 6.16m).

The Swedish athlete continues to captivate with his extraordinary talent, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his future performances.
