Football Association and Premier League Announce Removal of Replay Matches in European Cups


A commendable initiative has been undertaken in response to the growing number of matches in European Cups. The Football Association (FA) issued a press release emphasizing that, starting from this season, the replayed matches have been eliminated from the round of 16. This development came about through an agreement with the Premier League, taking into consideration the adjustments required by the expanded UEFA competitions.
